CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) called for the impeachment of a solicitor in a case involving the deadly shooting of a 22-year-old woman from Waxhaw.

Norman's request comes one day after Steve Federico, the father of Logan Federico, addressed a Congressional hearing in Charlotte about the death of his daughter, stating that Fifth Circuit Solicitor Bryon Gipson has had no contact with him about the case.

Logan Federico was shot and killed at a home in Columbia on May 3. She was visiting friends in the area. Alexander Dickey, 30, is accused of breaking into the home and killing Federico. He later fled the scene in a stolen vehicle and used stolen credit cards to make purchases, according to police.

Dickey was later arrested and charged with murder, multiple counts of burglary,
