BAKERSFIELD, Calif (KGET) -- A man arrested in a shooting that wounded another man on a street near the Kern County Fairgrounds was arraigned Tuesday.
Thomas Anderson, 19, is being held on a total of $750,000 bail in connection with two cases, including the shooting that occurred on the night of Sept. 22.
He's due back in court Oct. 8.
The victim, 19, was shot around 10 p.m. in the 1100 block of Terrace Way, police said. He drove to the 700 block of South P Street, where bystanders called for help.
Police said he was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition.
Anderson was arrested Sept. 25 in the 700 block of Decatur Street. There was no connection between the shooting and the fair, police said.
