LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -A Brighton woman charged with the death of a 5-year-old boy in a hyperbaric chamber last January has been taken to jail for violating her bond.

Tamela Peterson, the founder and CEO of the Oxford Center in Oakland County, will spend two days behind bars.

Last April, Peterson posted a $2 million bond. As part of her bond conditions, she was supposed to surrender all guns to the court.

She reportedly kept a gun and sold it over the summer.

Peterson waived a hearing and pleaded guilty to the bond violation.

After two days in jail, a judge ordered her to home confinement.
