The Michigan Daily sat down with Eric Veal Jr., University of Michigan Central Student Government president, to discuss changes made during the formation of the Fall 2025 CSG budget, his response to revisions to the Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities and transparency between CSG and the public. The Michigan Daily: Last Tuesday, CSG passed a heavily-revised budget which significantly reduced the amount of money allocated to the Executive Discretionary Fund , among other CSG accounts, in order to provide more funding to student organizations. What changes have been made to EDF spending to accommodate the decrease in funds?
