NEBRASKA (KCAU) — An organization in Nebraska announced that it launched a third petition to go on the November 2026 ballot.

Advocates for All Nebraskans revealed the A.P.P.L.E. Plan, also known as the Assist Property Payers through Legislative Education support.

The ballot measure would provide a base funding of $50,000 a year for every certified public school teacher.

Members of the organization said the petition would also require the state to fulfill its constitutional obligation to financially support public education.
