SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Lots of people love to garden, and now at harvest time, reaping the rewards of a season's work is most of the fun. But if you don't have the space for a garden, you can still take part in the harvest in a way.

Loess Hills Wild Ones held the "Native Seed Harvest," in which people can walk the trails and harvest seeds from native Iowa plants.

Not only was this a fun event for plant lovers, but organizers said it also helps the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center.
