Dara Huang, the mother of Princess Beatrice's nine-year-old stepson, has shared a moving reflection on confidence to mark her birthday.

The 43-year-old Taiwanese-American architect, who shares Christopher Woolf 'Wolfie' with Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, posted a heartfelt Instagram video on Monday describing herself as a "late bloomer".

The clip moved from a childhood photo of Dara to a glamorous image of her as an adult.

She captioned it: "To all my late bloomers out there (I knew there was a reason why there were a million photos of my sister like one of me).
