The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory at 12:35 a.m. on Wednesday valid for Thursday between midnight and 9 a.m. for McKean, Potter, Elk, Tioga and Sullivan counties.

The weather service adds to expect, "Temperatures between 32 and 35 degrees will result in frost formation."

"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," comments the weather service. "Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive vegetation. Near-ground freezing temperatures could kill uncovered sensitive outdoor vegetation."
