A frost advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:14 a.m. valid for Thursday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Oswego, Jefferson, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.

The weather service adds to be ready for, "Temperatures in the lower to mid 30s will result in frost formation."

"Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left unprotected," comments the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
