A man has been arrested and charged after a Hearts player was allegedly assaulted during a clash with Dundee United.
Police were alerted to the alleged incident at Tannadice Stadium in Dundee on August 10.
Officers confirmed on Wednesday a man, aged 23, has been arrested and charged in connection.
He has been released from custody and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
