Google, NBC Universal reach short-term extension while negotiations continue

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Google and NBC Universal have come to a short-term deal to continue broadcasting NBC programming on YouTube TV.

There has been no word on how long the temporary extension is, but it will avoid disruption while negotiations on a long-term agreement continue. If that long-term deal is not reached, programming from NBC affiliates, including WAVE, will be dropped from the YouTube TV platform.

WAVE News will remain available for free if you use an antenna and our newscasts are available through streaming apps for Apple, Android, Roku, Fire and Apple TV.
