Jumper-philes rejoice, because this season’s stock of cold-weather woollens is the best we’ve seen in a while. The autumn/winter 2025 runways were a veritable knit-fest, with brands such as Gucci, Miu Miu, Missoni and Stella McCartney making a strong case for contemporary knits in all shapes and sizes. Think: chunky cardigans, statement jumpers and enveloping, oversized sweaters, featuring generously-draped fabric details. And while many of the styles were rendered in directional silhouettes, there were also a number of designers who kept it classic in the knitwear department.
