As we start off the month of October, our temperatures seem to have a mind of their own. Instead of feeling like Fall, we'll keep above average high temperatures, in the mid-80s, with plenty of sunshine and the slightest hint of a breeze.

While still generally comfortable, in direct sun this afternoon, we will feel rather warm. Starting tomorrow though, there's a change in the air as a drier air mass moves into the area. Not only will we have less humid, more crisp and clean air often associated with Fall but we'll also couple it with lower temperatures. High temperatures Thursday and through this weekend will sit mildly in the low 80s.

Scattered rain chances return to the forecast to start next work-week. No day is currently looking like a washout.
