AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Golden Harvest Food Bank has officially launched it’s annual ‘It’s Spooky to be Hungry’ campaign for the month of October.
The month-long event kicked off on Wednesday.
This year, Golden Harvest has a goal of $400,000, which equates to 1,000,000 meals.
For over three decades, local neighborhoods, businesses, faith-based organizations and volunteers have partnered with Golden Harvest to ‘Scare Away Hunger’ through the It’s Spooky to Be Hungry Drive.
