Keep Morristown-Hamblen Beautiful will host its semi-annual BOPAE Event for disposal of household waste Saturday, October 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at JTEKT Plant 3, located at 5937 Commerce Boulevard in the West Industrial Park in Morristown.

This event will have disposal of residential household waste. BOPAE is an acronym for batteries, oil, paint, antifreeze and electronic waste. The event is presented by JTEKT, Tuff Torq and Universal Environmental Services.

Items to be collected include:

Batteries (automotive and rechargeable)

Oil (Motor and Hydraulic)

Paint (Latex only, no oil-based paints)

Antifreeze

Electronics (Computers, laptops and desktops with hard drives cleared of any personal information)

Fax machines, copiers, printers, scanners and modems
