LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - A judge sentenced a man to 35 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to videotaping himself raping a child .

Third Judicial Circuit Court Judge Rob Ratton sentenced 39-year-old Brandon Allen Leonard of Jonesboro to 420 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections after Leonard entered negotiated pleas of guilty Monday, Sept. 29, one count of rape-victim under 14.

The judge also sentenced Leonard to 240 months in the ADC after he pleaded guilty to two counts of engaging a child in sexually explicit conduct, a Class B felony.

In exchange for his guilty plea to one count of producing, directing, or promoting a sexual performance by a child, Ratton sentenced Leonard to 240 months suspended imposition of sentence.
