On Thursday, October 9, Strathcona County Enforcement Services will be collecting donations for the Strathcona Food Bank.

County Enforcement Services, alongside members of the Strathcona County RCMP detachment, will be at three local grocery stores with a police cruiser to encourage shoppers to fill the cruiser with donations.

Last year, the Cram a Cruiser event collected nearly 5,000 pounds of food and $900 in donations.

“Over the last few years, we’ve seen firsthand how generous our community can be,” said Tom Sutton, director of RCMP and Enforcement Services. “Every can, box and dollar donated makes a real difference for families in need. We’re proud to support the Strathcona Food Bank and grateful to everyone who helps fill the cruiser.”
