Three people are facing charges after disrupting a softball game in Collegedale Monday by flashing their weapons, making threats, and blocking exits.
Police responded to The Summit Softball Complex on La Collina Way after a 911 caller said somebody flashed a gun and threatened to shoot people during an ongoing altercation.
The caller told dispatchers two vehicles blocked the exit, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 3 News.
As officers with the Chattanooga Police Department arrived on scene, both cars started leaving the area. Officers stopped them at the intersection of Apison Pike and La Collina Way for questioning.
Witnesses told police the people in those cars approached one of the softball team's players earlier.
