(WANE) - Fort Wayne police say a recent investigation ended with officers confiscating multiple weapons from a teenage boy.
The raid coincides with what the department says is an ongoing commitment to end youth violence.
The FWPD announced in a Facebook post its Gang and Violent Crimes Unit seized guns from a 16-year-old in the Fort Wayne area.
According to the post, search warrants led to the discovery of two handguns, an AR pistol, an AR upper - which is part of a rifle - 300 rounds of ammunition, high-capacity magazines, and equipment for manufacturing parts to convert Glock handguns to full auto.
Further details on the raid were not shared.
