A machete thug attacked a man in man in a Springburn pub while shocked punters looked on.

The brutal attack took place at Bells Bar on Friday, September 26. A 39-year-old man was rushed from the scene ho hospital where his injuries were described as 'serious'.

Detectives are treating the attack as 'targeted'. The attacker, who was wearing a hat and a grey hoodie, was captured on CCTV entering the boozer and pushing through pub goers singing karaoke, reports the Record.

In the footage he is seen making his way over to a table before pulling a footlong blade from behind his back. He lands a violent strike on a man seated at a table. The attacker then rains fourth further blows down on his victim in a frenzied attack.
