ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 19-year-old now faces weapons charges after being arrested on Tuesday following an investigation in the area of Child Street and Texas Street.

According to the Rochester Police Department, officers were called to the area around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday for a report of people fighting in the middle of the street. As officers responded, they were informed that a man involved in the altercation had allegedly placed a handgun in his waistband.

During the investigation, police reportedly found 19-year-old Quentin Stanbeck on Texas Street. At the time, police said Stanbeck had what was described as a .40 caliber "ghost gun" loaded with nine rounds in his waistband. He was then taken into custody without incident and transported to the Monroe County Jail.
