CAMBRIA COUNTY, (WTAJ) -- A former substitute teacher for the Central Pennsylvania area is facing charges after allegedly sending inappropriate Facebook messages to a student.
Loren Yannitto, 71, was charged after Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) received a ChildLine tip in July that he was sending messages to a 17-year-old student, according to the criminal complaint. When troopers spoke to the student, she said that Yannitto allegedly requested to be Facebook friends with her when she was in seventh grade.
During her tenth-grade year, Yannitto allegedly began sending her inappropriate messages over Facebook. Specifically, the student told troopers about a day when she was absent, Yannitto messaged her, "Wow, the girl's shorts keep getting higher and higher. I don't mind though lol. Nice
