DALLAS — Attorneys and the wife of one of the men killed in the Dallas ICE facility shooting last week held a press conference today to tell of his final moments, and the man whose life he saved.

Miguel Ángel García, 32, died from his injuries early Tuesday, almost a week after the shooting happened. He was one of two people killed in the shooting.

According to his attorneys from Texas Mexico law, they were reached out to by the family on a man who was inside the ICE transport van at the time of the shooting. The family was looking to get help for their son, who is still in ICE custody, when they told the attorney his life had been saved by a man who was in the van with him.
