It's win-or-go-home for the Detroit Tigers .

The Tigers had every chance imaginable to try and put away the Cleveland Guardians in Game 2, but squandered it time and time again before an offensive explosion by the Guardians in the eighth inning.

The Tigers are now tied with the Cleveland Guardians, 1-1, in a best-of-three wild-card series after two games, and will play in a series-deciding Game 3 on Thursday, Oct. 2, at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:08 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcasted on ESPN, but that time could change. If any of the other series end early, Tigers-Guardians will move to 3:08 p.m. and if all the other series end early, the game will start at 7:08 p.m.
