GIRARD, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - There is renewed attention on the case of Angela Freeman, a mother of three from Girard who has been missing since 2014.

Freeman was last seen on April 2, 2014, leaving her home on Brigham Avenue. According to neighbors, she was driving her white Nissan. She never returned home.

Angela’s sister, Geneva Wilkerson, has never stopped searching for answers. “How do you just vanish?” she asked. “Where did she go? What really happened?”

On the day she disappeared, Freeman had planned to attend a school parade with her sister’s children, an event she would never have wanted to miss.

“I kept calling her and calling her. She never did answer,” she said.

Later, Freeman’s husband called, asking if she had heard from her.
