N. Hoolywood is putting a Japanese spin on some classic British outerwear.
The Tokyo-based brand founded by Daisuke Obana is teaming with Baracuta for the first time on an exclusive capsule called N. Hoolywood Compile that reimagines two of the British brand’s best-known silhouettes.
The designs were informed by Obana’s recent visit to the U.K., where he was exposed to classic British tailoring and vintage garments such as those created by Baracuta , which is credited with creating the original Harrington jacket.
For the Compile capsule, Obana created a reversible version of Baracuta’s G9 jacket, originally engineered for golfers and known for its windproof and waterproof qualities. The length has been shortened to create a boxy silhouette and the ribbing at the hem was adjusted for
