CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - People who live in Ohio City woke up on Wednesday morning to another round of car break-ins. Over a dozen cars had the driver’s side window smashed in.
“There is always glass on the ground. It is every morning. There is always a different car,” said Calvin Thomas.
Thomas said people who live in the neighborhood are beyond frustrated.
When he and his fiancé took their dog out for a walk, they discovered the break-ins. They saw glass covering the entire block of West 32nd and Detroit Avenue.
Thomas was hoping that he wasn’t also a victim, but as he turned the corner, he quickly realized his fate.
“Everything was on the seat, and everything is covered in glass,” said Thomas. “Nothing is missing. The glove compartment is opened up in the center console.”
