DUSD hosting event for 5th to 11th graders at district office

The Dysart Unified School District is hosting another career and college expo for students and parents so families can explore opportunities to pursue in high school and after graduation.

The free event is set for 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Dysart District Office, located at 15802 N. Parkview Place.

The expo will highlight Dysart’s Career and Technical Education programs, West-MEC, colleges and universities and military representatives.

“This is a great way for fifth through 11th grade students and their parents to get hands-on with all of the career pathway classes and programs offered at Dysart Schools,” district officials wrote in a news release.
