BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A Veazie man pleaded guilty in federal court to having child pornography.
According to the Department of Justice, 24-year-old Austin Cocchiaro used his phone to contact minors.
Court documents show he asked minors to participate in the production of child porn and that he would pay for images online.
Last year, the FBI searched Cocchiaro’s home and found child pornography on two of his phones.
When sentenced, he faces 10 years to life in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to a lifetime of supervised release.
