EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) - The Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame and Museum has been given a financial life raft, thanks to support from the East Liverpool community.

Last month, WKBN reported that the museum was in serious financial trouble, and there were fears that it would not make it to the end of September.

Thanks to support from the community, coming in large part through donations, the museum is now able to stay financially stable through the end of the year.

In the meantime, those at the museum are working on securing grants and other funding for the long-term future.

Michelle Roberts, director of operations, said it took a tremendous weight off of her shoulders.
