Florida A&M University was hit with a $10,000 SWAC fine on Wednesday over inappropriate comments made by an announcer during the Rattlers' football game against Alabama State.

The comments, which were directed at ASU's "Honey Beez" dance group, were made by longtime FAMU band announcer Joe Bullard over the PA system at Bragg Memorial Stadium following the group's half-time performance.

Bullard has been suspended for the team's next two games.
