High school students in Alabama can save on college application fees during Alabama College Application Week.
The event starts Monday, October 6, and runs through next Friday. During the week, dozens of colleges, including public and private four-year and community colleges across Alabama and some in other Southeast states, have waived their application fees.
"During this event, local high schools will be hosting special college application celebrations with students submitting applications to colleges nationwide," said Alabama College Application Campaign (ALCAC) Coordinator, Dr. Monica P. Mack. "Last year, more than 300 Alabama schools participated and nearly 30,000 students applied to colleges nationwide."
