MINOT, ND (KXNET) — One Christian non-profit has been providing a variety of different items to people in the community for over five years, and they are continuing to grow. In this month's KX Gives Back, KX News' Megan Topping brought lunch and got to know the people who work and volunteer at the Matthew 25 Project in Minot.

In 2019, the Matthew 25 Project began as what founder Melissa Maasjo called a garage sale out of a barn. Over the years, she says they have grown immensely, not just providing for the Minot community, but all surrounding towns.

"When we moved into the shop, we didn't really know what we were doing. We just knew that we needed to be more available to people, so we had piles of stuff and things on tables. Over the years, we've just gotten way more organized and gotten
