North Jackson has proven they're no one-hit wonder. The Chiefs produced a breakout season in 2024, winning 4A Region 8. Now, they're off to a 3-0 start in region play this year.

Madison Academy is also unbeaten in conference action. The Mustangs suffered a 51-27 loss to Mars Hill in Week 0, but have since rattled off four-straight wins. Sophomore quarterback Charleston Owens continues to dazzle with both his arm and his legs.
