NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State dropped its third straight game in an 18–13 loss to Wagner, falling to 1–4 in Michael Vick’s first season as head coach. In this week’s Norfolk State University Coach’s Show, Vick reflected on missed opportunities, praised his defense, and spotlighted his quarterback in the latest edition of Vick’s Pick.
Vick called the loss “probably the toughest” of the season, saying, “we were definitely in a position to put them away, but we didn’t capitalize on the opportunities.” He pointed to their success in forcing turnovers but missing chances in the red zone, adding, "Now, it's about putting it all together, and that's gonna take an unbelievable amount of discipline and focus, but we've got to put the past behind us and move forward."
