LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky family says justice has not been served after the man convicted for stabbing their son was released from prison .

In 2015, Ronald Exantus traveled from Indianapolis to Versailles, where he committed a series of stabbings. Those stabbings resulted in the death of 6-year-old Logan Tipton and injuries to his father and two sisters.

“He stood up with me on top of him. Just stood up and threw me 10 to 15 feet across the room and went after [my daughter], said Dean Tipton, father to Logan Tipton.

The family states it was a freak incident, emphasizing they had no connection to Exantus. They say he gained access to their house through an unlocked door.
