CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) -Cape Central and Jackson have been meeting on the football field for over a century, and the rivalry will resume Friday night at Jackson High School.
The Tigers are 4-1 on the season and Jackson is 5-0. It’s approaching 10 years since Cape Central last beat Jackson.
The Tigers will also look to bounce back from a 20-7 loss to St. Dominic in their last outing.
Cape Central and head coach Kent Gibbs will try to pull off the upset over the Indians at 7 p.m. Friday at the Pit in Jackson.
