SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Three people were hospitalized, including an infant and another juvenile, after a vehicle crashed into pedestrians in south Sacramento on Wednesday, according to the police department.

Officers responded to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near Center Parkway and Pomegranate Avenue just before 6:30 p.m.

Sacramento police said one woman, a juvenile and an infant were taken to an area hospital for complaints of pain.

Officials have not released any details about what led up to the crash, but said the driver is cooperating with investigators and DUI does not appear to be a factor.
