SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is approaching the last year of his contract and is in no hurry to sign an extension. After the team's first practice, Kerr expressed his comfort with letting the season unfold.

"I love my job, and when the time comes, we'll see where it all stands," Kerr said. Kerr, now in his 12th season with the Warriors, remains confident in his relationship with GM Mike Dunleavy and owner Joe Lacob.

He emphasized that he's not concerned about job security at this time. The Warriors' coach appears ready to focus on the upcoming season, allowing contract discussions to happen naturally.
