LUDINGTON — The first Ludington Lumber Days will be celebrated this weekend, “... ushering in a new fall festival packed with lumberjack-inspired fun, history, music and adventure for all ages,” said Brandy Miller, executive director of the Ludington Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
“Lumbering is truly the foundation of this community,” said Miller. “Ludington was once home to 14 sawmills along the Pere Marquette Lake, and while the mills are long gone, their impact remains in much of our community today.
