The Bishop of Manchester has issued a statement following this morning’s major incident involving a stabbing outside a north Manchester synagogue.
Greater Manchester Police have reported that two people have been been killed, and the suspect shot dead, following the incident this morning (October 2). Eye-witnesses saw a car driven at members of the public outside Heaton Park synagogue, on Middleton Road, at 9.30am.
The suspect was shot at the scene by armed police. Five people, including a security guard, were injured. Three people remain in a serious condition.
