Amazon on Thursday announced the opening of a new delivery station in Oxford.

The new 85,000-square-foot Amazon delivery station, WBM4, is located in the Oxford South Industrial Park.

The facility is expected to create up to 70 full- and part-time jobs, in addition to new driver opportunities, according to a recent release.

“This project represents a great investment in the region,” Don Hopper, Executive Director of the Calhoun County Economic Development Council, said in the release.

“We are excited to see Oxford South Industrial Park grow with such innovation from a world-renowned company like Amazon and look forward to the positive impact this project will have on Calhoun County.”
