Fort Saskatchewan RCMP arrested a suspect yesterday in relation to a frightening and violent shotgun robbery at the Victoria Hotel in Bruderheim back on November 15, 2024.

The accused is Aaron Roberts (43), a resident of Edmonton. It is alleged that Roberts attended the Victoria Hotel armed with a shotgun and robbed the staff of cash. During the robbery, the shotgun was used to strike an individual in the face to force compliance.

Shortly after the robbery, police recovered what they believe was the vehicle used to escape along with cash and firearms. You can see the image below.

Aaron Roberts has been charged with the following offences:

Robbery with a firearm;

Using a firearm in the commission of an offence;

Pointing a firearm;

Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon;
