TISHOMINGO, Okla. (KFOR) - Tishomingo Public Schools officials say an employee has resigned following an altercation between a Comanche player during a recent football game.

The Duncan Banner first reported the incident that led the district to opening an investigation into the matter and the Tishomingo employee eventually resigning.

Tishomingo school officials say, the incident happened at the Tishomingo's homecoming game along the home team sidelines when a school employee was captured pushing a Comanche player.

Tishomingo Public Schools Superintendent Brandon Moreland released a statement on September 30 regarding the employee resignation saying, “Tishomingo Public Schools is aware of an incident that occurred on the field during the Tishomingo vs. Comanche football game on Sept. 26,
