MISSOURI (KFVS) - Two southeast Missouri men will be inducted into the Missouri Veterans Hall of Fame.
According to a news release from the organization, they recognize Missourians who served in the military and then continue to contribute to their communities.
The 2025 inductees include:
Frank Robinson from Perryville - U.S. Army, 1969-1971
Roger Brooks from Sikeston - U.S. Navy, 1952-1954
John Verle “Pete” Adkins from Wellsville - U.S. Navy, 1943-1946
Richard A. Heigert from Arnold - U.S. Army, 1966-1991
James M. Mayer from St. Louis - U.S. Army, 1968-1970
Clifton M. Smart, III from Springfield - U.S. Army, 1986-1990
Organizers say there will also be an honorary inductee, General Maxwell Taylor, who was born in Keytesville, Mo.
They say he served in the U.S. Army from 1922-1959
