GREENWOOD, S.C. (WSPA) - Two people were arrested and charged after deputies discovered fentanyl pills at both a home and fast food restaurant in Greenwood County.
A months-long investigation led to the arrest of Quintavius Crawford and Kayla Beggs on fentanyl trafficking charges, the Eighth Circuit Solicitor's Office said.
Crawford was arrested after officers found more than half a pound of blue fentanyl pills and two guns at a home on Lisa Drive.
Beggs, the manager of the Greenwood Sonic, was arrested Thursday at the restaurant on charges of distributing fentanyl.
Officers discovered fentanyl pills in the restaurant’s storage room, the solicitor's office said. State health inspectors were notified, leading to its closure.
