PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Lane reductions are expected for the routine inspection of the Bob Michel Bridge starting on Monday.
The inspection will reduce the bridge to one lane in both directions from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The lane reduction is expected to last up to four days, an Illinois Department of Transportation news release said.
Those driving over the bridge should expect delays and should consider taking alternate routes when possible.
Pedestrian and bicycle traffic over the bridge will not be impacted by the inspection.
