SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The United Way of the Coastal Empire is welcoming new leadership, introducing its latest board of directors who help guide the organization’s mission to improve lives across the region.
WTOC spoke with Cecilia Russo Turner, the newly appointed chair of United Way’s board of directors, to learn more about what’s ahead for the organization and how it’s working to meet community needs.
Right now, United Way is in the middle of its 2026 Community Fund campaign . The Community Fund supports non-profit organizations, direct services and volunteer efforts that aim to improve lives in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Liberty and Long Counties.
