BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - A local museum features a lot of cool artwork, but thanks to State Funding, the building will receive upgrades to be cooled and heated.
The Roberson Museum is receiving $200,000 in State Funding to aid in an HVAC system installation.
Senator Lea Webb announced she secured the funding through New York State's Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability, and Technology Program, otherwise known as CREST.
Roberson Museum Executive Director Michael Grasso says the current climate control system is from the 1960s, and having a new one installed is critical.
