BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The NYPD is investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday evening in Fordham Heights that resulted in two injuries.

The shooting happened around 5:58 p.m. in front of 2382 Webster Avenue.

Surveillance video obtained by PIX11 News shows a man dressed head to toe in black with a gun in his right hand.

Police say he fired a barrage of bullets, hitting a 36-year-old man several times. A bullet also grazed a 35-year-old woman in the ankle.

A longtime Bronx resident, Louis Torres, says he is not surprised to see this level of violence in the streets during daylight hours.

"I really don't like coming down here. It's horrible," said Torres.

Detectives returned to the scene on Thursday afternoon, looking for more evidence.
